The Town of Howland is currently accepting RFP for a townwide revaluation to update property assessments to reflect current market values. The new assessed values will be used to calculate property taxes for the tax year beginning July 1, 2029. A revaluation does not determine how much tax revenue the Town collects. It updates the values used to distribute the property tax obligation among property owners, based on the market value of their property. For a copy of the RFP please click the link below
